Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in the Park
"A double celebration took place in Banbury’s Princess Diana Park to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the opening of the new Jubilee Sensory Room at the Sunshine Centre. Platinum Jubilee event at Princess Diana Park
We would like to invite our community in Ruscote to join us in Princess Diana Park on 1st June, 12pm - 3pm to begin to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen. Easter Fun @ The Sunshine Centre
The Sunshine Centre have 2 EGGciting Easter activities for you during the school holidays. 14th April will be our Family Fun activity. You can also sign up to take part in our Cooking with Lucy Easter Special which will be running the following week on 20th April. To book either of these activities call the Sunshine Centre on 01295 276769.
Trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park
We have organised a trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park on 1st August. Tickets include entrance fee and the cost of the coach. Adults £14, Children 3-16years £10, Children under 3 £3. If you would like to book a place pop into The Sunshine Centre, fill out a booking form and pay a deposit of £5 per seat.
Trip to Bournemouth
We have organised coach a trip to Bournemouth on 26th August 2022.The coach leaves The Sunshine Centre at 7am and leaves Bournemouth at 5pm giving you a long day in the lovely seaside town. Seats on the coach are £15 each. You can book your place by popping into the centre, filling out a booking form and leaving a deposit of £5 per seat.
Over 50’s activity at The Sunshine Centre
The Sunshine Centre seeks to support the whole community and asked our over 50's what we could offer them. They overwhelmingly asked for a regular Bingo session. We now hold a prize Bingo on the last Thursday of every month at 2pm. It is lots of fun and it raises money to help the vulnerable in the community. Booking is required.
Citizens Advice are coming to The Sunshine Centre
We are pleased that Citizens Advice will be coming to The Sunshine Centre every Monday and Wednesday from 10am - 12noon, from 7th February. You do not have to book, just drop in.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
The Sunshine Centre would like to wish every one a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. We will look forward to seeing everyone when we reopen on 4th January 2022.
Winter Wishes
Thank you to everyone who attended our Winter Wishes event on 21st December. Everyone enjoyed the socially distanced activities and lots of fun was had by all. A special thank you goes to Santa who kindly visited us for 3 hours, listened and chatted to the children, and gave out gifts to take home. Another exciting visitor was Heather from Muddy Feet, who came along with her fire pit to toast marshmallows with the children [...]
